Dr. Lawrence Shapiro
Dr. Lawrence Shapiro has practiced hair transplant surgery in South Florida
since 1989, performing over 11,000 procedures. As a dermatologist (the treatment of skin, hair, and nails) he
specializes exclusively in hair loss treatment.
Dr. Shapiro was the first to do a "strip incision" and the first doctor in the Southern U.S. to specialize
in "micro-mini grafts."
In 2010, he discovered how to decrease the normal 3-6 month follicle dormancy period after a hair transplant procedure. Growth now starts at 6 weeks to 2 months using his patent pending and proprietary Accelerated Follicular Restoration™ (AFR™) program.
