Using Aloe on Hair Transplant Grafts
Q I was told I could put aloe on the grafts (scabs) after the hair transplant surgery. Is that ok?
A No, we do not recommend use of aloe (which is great for burns at home, and minor abrasions). We recommend that you follow our simple post-op instructions. You can start washing with baby shampoo in a few days and then if there are any scabs after a week you can apply antibiotic ointment on the scabs.
