Swelling

Swelling - can be a temporary side effect from a hair transplant. The swelling may begin in the forehead and travel down the face. It is usually an accumulation of fluid from the procedure. Your doctor will advise you on how to avoid or minimize any swelling after surgery. Usually elevating the head and icing the facial area as well as a low dose of cortisone will prevent swelling.
