Growth hormone
Growth hormone "stimulates growth and cell reproduction and regeneration." It has been used to treat a variety of growth disorders, and has become popular in anti-aging and weight management regimens. It has been a fad among athletes, but its use in sports is banned.
Dr. Shapiro believes that use of growth hormone contributes to hair loss. See complete list of recommended tests.
